I've extremely uncontrollable hair, GHD's happen to be my saviour in the last few years but after eliminating away 2 pairs I have to appear elsewhere (prior to they broke or destroy me). Just within year the first pair began to spark around the guide joint and eventually continued fire. My second pair (MK4) have survived only six months, they would beep continuously and, as the second user noted, it had been they not I that were in control of whether or not they desired to turn on. That set finished off having a dissolve on the adhesive from the porcelain dishes started cigarette smoking prior to the the plates dropped off totally. They are fantastic when they're working but there is a major high quality issue. They were a market leader but my view is that there must now be other people that can do the job - I definitely hope I can find them - my hair is chaos.[/quote]
